16 gauge 1/4″ ID Bright Aluminum Rings***

16 gauge 1/4″ ID saw-cut bright aluminum rings for making chain maille. Sold in 1, 4, 8, and 16 ounce packages.

Bright aluminum is light-weight, inexpensive, and relatively clean. Aluminum Oxide rub-off is always a factor with uncoated aluminum. The aluminum I use is very clean, but there may still be a small amount of gray rub-off. This should be taken into consideration when purchasing this product as it will not be considered a flaw. These rings can vary in shine from batch to batch as well. All rings are coiled, cut, and cleaned in-house.

RING SPECS

Alloy 5356-HQ -16 SWG (1.6mm) bright aluminum wire, coiled on a 1/4″ (.250″)  mandrel.

Saw cut using a Ringinator© cutting system with a .010″ thickness cutting blade.

Tumbled and cleaned to remove metal dust and debris from the cutting process.
