18 swg SQUARE wire “Gecko” sponge anodized titanium rings

Add some color to your chain maille with these dazzling, “Gecko” style sponge anodized titanium rings!

Each ring is painstakingly anodized, one at a time, using a combination of sponge and dip anodizing, so no two rings look alike. The colors created by the sponge anodizing include gold, violet, teal, and green. The rings are sponge anodized, and then they are dipped into an anodizing bath at a low voltage to fill the remaining voids with a deep purple, creating a dazzling blend of vibrant colors. These rings are very challenging to anodize and as a result, there will be variations in colors from ring to ring. This is the nature and beauty of these rings and should not be seen as a defect. 

Please note that the color on these rings is affected by oils. If after handling, the color on the rings looks lighter or faded, simply wash it in hot soapy water and allow it to air dry. The anodized layer does not penetrate the metal and can be scratched by hard surfaces, revealing the raw metal beneath. Care should be taken to preserve the quality of your rings.
