Chain Maille Heraldic Round Shield Coasters

These beautiful chain maille “round shield” coasters are perfect for protecting your table from condensation while enjoying your favorite drink!

These wonderful coasters are created by weaving various colors of anodized aluminum rings into heraldic inlay patterns. The chain maille is hand stitched on to a veg-tanned leather back, which adds protection and prevents the maille from scratching any surfaces. The leather is then worked and stretched to create the “umbo” or center of the shield.

Each heraldic pattern is different and the colors can be customized to suit individual taste. The versions listed here are all of the heraldic patterns that I currently have to offer. Each coaster measures 3.25 inches in diameter. Sold individually.
