CUSTOM Chain Maille Dragon Sculpture

This piece was a custom order.

It is crafted from a combination of champagne and pink anodized aluminum rings and pink, laser-etched, aluminum scales. The eyes are 8mm black agate beads that are strung on headpins and fastened within the chain maille weave of the head.

The tail section has light pink and silver Swarovski pearls captured within the chain maille weave and is finished with a small segment of round maille and several more laser-etched scales.

This sculpture incorporates several chain maille weaves including, European 4-1, Half-Persian 3-1, Captive Inverted Round maille, Round maille, and scale maille. It measures just under 30 inches in length, from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail.
