CUSTOM Hana Gusari Chain Maille Tie

This is a custom-fitted chain maille necktie that I was commissioned to craft for one of our local high school graduates, Class of 2014.

The “tie” is crafted from anodized aluminum, in school colors of royal blue and gold. I used a Japanese, Hana Gusari, weave to create the tie and knot sections. The neck chain is crafted from stainless steel and finished with a large lobster clasp.

Due to the custom-fitted nature of these ties and amount of time to fabricate, (lead-time is 2 to 4 weeks), I do not offer these ties as a stock item on the website. Starting price is $200 and includes up to 2 (two) colors. Cost increases for additional colors.

PLEASE NOTE: I will require a neck measurement (for the neck chain) and desired tie length (usually from the collar-bone to the belt line), as well as the desired color(s) in order to create a custom piece that is properly fitted for the intended wearer.
