DIY Chain Maille Hanging Basket Kit

These DIY kits have everything you need to make 1 (one) – chain maille hanging basket. These wonderful hanging baskets are created using bright aluminum rings, and will hold up to 15 pounds, making them perfect for small potted plants. I also offer a version of these baskets using 304 alloy, machine cut stainless steel rings, for food applications.

This is a beginner to intermediate level chain maille project. You do not need any prior experience making maille to complete this project, although it does help. All it takes to make these are a couple of pairs of pliers, and a little time.

Disclaimer: Bracken Maille has verified that the rings in these kits are weave-able and will work for weaving the Chain Maille Hanging Baskets. All of the rings included in this kit have been cleaned and inspected to ensure minimal chances for dud rings. I include a few extra rings of each size, beyond what you should need, in case of slippage or the occasional “lost ring”. I can not guarantee that rings from another supplier, even if they are the “same” size, will be weave-able. I also can not guarantee that your weaving level and ability will be sufficient to effectively weave this project.
