Dolphin themed Chain Maille Wind Chime

This beautiful dolphin themed chain maille wind chime features multiple resin-cast dolphin figurines, and real sea shells. The chain maille portions are made from a combination of sea foam, sky blue, and royal blue anodized aluminum. The 5 inch hoop is wrapped in Captive Inverted Roundmaille, and the hanging chains are made from Half-Persian 3-1 and cable chain. The 5 chimes make a lovely sound when the wind is blowing.

The piece hangs from a beautiful resin-cast image of 3 dolphins jumping. The center clacker depicts a mother and baby dolphin. The seas shells are shells we found at the beach. I hand-drilled each one  and attached them to the hanging dolphin figurines.

This piece was auctioned off in June 2018, and the proceeds were donated to help a young boy with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, take a dream vacation.
